So this election nonsense is reminding me how much I like fandom because of the douchebag concentration in the rest of the nerd internet. You know what I mean, I'll bet - there are so many forums and channels and comment threads that are somewhere between a frat party I wouldn't go to and a construction site I hate walking past, with a bit of dark alley thrown in. I'm not sure that the frantic invocation of LULZ! LULZ! can even be traced back to candidates themselves, frankly, but anyway, I voted for legomymalfoy, rm, and vichan, in that order. I don't think we necessarily need a fan to represent us, but at this point I am fairly okay with saying we need a chick, or a dude from the girly end of the internet.
