Well, my sister betareads for me (though she wouldn't if it was above an R, of course), so it's something that gets talked about in the family home. But a sister is different than a brother, somehow.
Still, my family can be ridiculously fannish, so I'm not surprised that my worlds are colliding like this. I still call home sometimes and they go "We can't talk. We're rewatching Serenity." and hang up. :-)
