1) Around 2 p.m, all the sudden, I was well again. I got up and did yoga. And then I spontaneously did pushups. And my first thought was, "I've been replaced by a Cylon. This is awesome!"

2) One of my main goals when I got this lj was to keep my head down and avoid wank (because I am Polite and Southern) but this week I've been feeling very: please, SGA fandom, do not implode yet. I just got here!

4) The AU I was not going to write is a concussion grenade and a FOX news scrollbar away from completion. I spent about three hours yesterday under a tree scribbling away at it, which was very pleasant, because most of the rest of my life happens at my desk right now. Finals, please get here so you can be over and I can turn off my computer and leave my house. Or at least pretend I'm going to. I guess I've only got one more semester to enjoy wacky finals behavior, so I might as well embrace it.

I enjoy how "writing enormous piles of fic" is something that stays on my to-do list during finals, but "go to grocery store ever again" and "delicious life-giving sleep" are things I just don't have the time for.

5) I spent a little too much time with my linktracker today, and do you know that about one in two hundred story-readers leaves a comment? For some reason I always thought I was one of those Few Special Lurkers. No, it turns out we are legion!

Re: linktracker, I use LJtoys (http://ljtoys.org.uk). I have the paid kind, but the free version's pretty good! Its data-gathering powers can be a little scary, though. I try to only use them for good?

Hmm, very interesting. Am I unreasonably attached to cool technological things? Perhaps. Still, it's kind of freaky to know that somewhere, someone out there is possibly construing my laziness in using user-info links to get back to the LJ homepage as obsessive stalkering. That probably isn't a word, but since I typed it out, I'm going to keep it.

*ignores the disturbing noises coming from the roommate's bedroom*

Anyone who is checking up on you via ljtoys and thinking you're a stalker is committing some counter-stalking stalking themselves! So I suppose it all works out in the end?

The only thing that freaks me out about the whole thing is that I go through a school ISP some of the time, so ljtoys users (and anyone else with a good linktracker and some reasoning skills) know which university I'm at. But I'm pretty sure no one cares all that much. I think.

I suppose it all balances out, then. Every action (has an opposite reaction) and all that. I think I've been doing too much physics homework.

Hmm, that's true, and I check LJ from school all the time. I guess we'll just have to associate with only non-crazy stalker people?
