Hey, shared love of a show is an awesomely powerful thing. I know what you mean, though. Ever since joining LJ, people (for the most part) have been amazingly kind.
You know...the character Elizabeth Weir was also introduced on SG-1 before Atlantis started. (Her & Daniel & Jack had some great chemistry.) She was originally played by a different actress, though. But our Weir (Tori) was in an episode or 2 also. She ran Stargate Command for at least one episode.
