(no subject)

I would like to tell the internet all about my superfast family visit and the advanced nerdiness of my siblings (sister: likes to cruise town blasting Sephiroth's Theme. Brother: turns to squeeing fangirl over Babylon 5) but I will sum it up as: if I'd known they were going to turn out like this, I would have gone to school closer to home.

I keep making noises about being afk but as of 7 a.m. on Monday I am actually without computer access through next Sunday at the earliest. I am hoping no one manages to burn down the internet while I'm gone.

ETA: Actually, I leave you with this excerpt from Ursula K. Le Guin's Searoad: Mr Spock was never unbuttoned, never lolled, kept himself shadowy, unfulfilled; and so we loved him. And poor Captain Kirk, going from blonde to blonde, would never understand true love, would never even understand that he himself loved Mr. Spock truly, hopelessly, forever.

Every time I think I can't possibly love her any more. Did you know that was in there? I did not!

I'm pretty sure it is, yeah.
