1) That was amazing. The final fight scene I was seriously :-o the whole time, no, really, my mouth was hanging open. I LOVED this movie. It was beautifully filmed and well put together and the acting really is getting better.

2) I watched it with rm #2, who is an old Shoebox Project girl, and may I say it does improve the movie-watching experience to not be the only one giggling madly during the Occlumency scene. Seriously. I WILL PENETRATE YOUR MIND. Snape, you dirty old bastard, I love you.

3) BTW, the noon showing was sold out, and the 2:30 showing was sold out, and we had to kill time until 4 p.m, which was, shortly after we sat down, sold out. Man, I really hope Daniel Radcliffe can do whatever he wants with his life after Movie #7.

I am now SO EXCITED for Book 7. I, um. Had to discourage roommate #2 out of buying a beverage fountain at Big Lots while we were killing time until the showing. For the butterbeer. At the book party she is throwing.

I hear that some of you got to watch the last 20 minutes in 3d, and while I might have found that distracting, also, the extra coolness might have made my brain explode.

In short: YES, THANK YOU, Harry Potter franchise. Well done.

Also, I now want to vid Harry Potter / Buffy Summers. Does anyone else feel that urge?

You are allowing me access... (defense against external penetration?)

3d was AWESOME. You have to imagine the bit with all of the glass falling as if it was ALL AROUND YOU. And I'm sure I have things to say but I am Tired, and today has been the suck, and I completely missed my chance to participate in Blog Like It's the Potterdammerung day (which was today), so as a very whiny conclusion, I will stop now.

Please vid Harry Potter/ Buffy Summers.

As for your other vid, I have total faith that you can handle all the POVness. There.

Basically, it's hard not to read that whole passage, or watch it on the screen, and not get all subtext = buttsex about it. I'm glad the actors are older now, because that would otherwise have freaked me out.

I am trying not to be jealous of your 3d experience, and oh look, now I am again! ::sulks::

Aw, I'm sorry your day was complicated. Remind me one more time when you're moving?

Srsly, the playground scene at the beginning of OoTPmovie / ep 4x22 Restless. It's totally doable, but luckily I have to wait until there's a good dvd rip of OoTP out. I think I enjoyed this movie much more because I was vidsourcing it in my head.

Moving on the 25th, but mostly yesterday was the suck (but not like deep life suck, more like every everyday irritant thing ever).

I am also glad the actors are older now, but man, Harry's still supposed to be fifteen, and I could barely imagine sexing up a 15 year old when I was fifteen, so it makes me brain be all confused.

As for vidding ootp, there would be fandom negligence if no one took all of Harry's dream thrashing completely out of context. I mean, really, did they not know what that looked like?

Eee, restless! Awesome!

But Daniel Radcliffe is eighteen! and really funny-looking.

[identity profile] phnelt.livejournal.com 2007-07-17 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
His head is giant! No seriously, it's like the head of two people. You can't really tell in the movies, but my friend Kate got to meet the whole cast and she has a picture with him and seriously.

I know he's eighteen, which is kosher if it's not a power abuse thing, but Harry's still all fifteen which =badness.

but... but... come back online? (my roommate and I just had a thirty-minute conversation about furries, though. RL is showing such promise).

I know, which is why I've never been that into fanfiction that takes place during the book. But for some reason seeing the characters played by non-underage actors makes that go better in my head.

Shoebox Project -- wow, it's been ages since I've been there! And oh, that Snape. I loved how pretty much every line he said was awesome. Even the one-liners (-worders?).

Apparently it was this whole big thing? (I was over in LoTR at the time, I think)

I am not 100% pro- Alan Rickman - okay, more like 99% - but his delivery is awesome

Well, it seemed popular enough, though it wasn't as if I knew other people who kept up with it. *g*

I'm not particularly 100% pro-Alan Rickman either, but that was definitely some amazing delivery in OotP (his two-word conversation with Umbridge was priceless!).
