Re: horror, I totally sympathize, and as a horror wuss I had trouble sleeping after I read this story, so you are superwarned about that. I've seen four episodes of SPN, all of them with my roommate right there and I still shrieked and/or hid my face every time.

It helps to know that the Winchesters live in a Buffy-esque sort of world, and that our hero Dean is super-hot. That's really all I went in knowing. Though I'm pretty sure someone more familiar with the character would say the Dean-voice is very well-done.
