So glad you liked it. That dynamic really works for me. It's just so obvious in EC/DD that Rose and the Doc are a couple. Jack comments on it.

I think when he finally believed that they weren't actually sleeping together, he probably backed off of the hardline seduction of both of them immediately and kept it merely playful. As time went on and they became his friends, it would have been even more important to him that they get together because, from the outside, Jack would be able to see how right they were for each other. If it took much time at all for the Doc and Rose to finally come together, I think the initial situation would have lost some of the initial momentum; Jack wouldn't have lost any of his desire for them, but he would have had time to think that perhaps in their bed wasn't his place. Hence, Rose and the Doc would just have to take matters into their own hands and seduce the boy. :)
