I broke ten thousand words today. Admittedly, after doing nothing from sunup to sundown besides viewingchatting, indexing tentacle porn, and eating a lot of beans and chips. About an hour ago I got down to it and busted out my 2,000 words, and now I'm at 11,626.

I promise to hold these updates to... less than constantly. I just feel the need to brag, since I was about to write off today entirely.

It's stuff like this that makes me wish I had time to do nanowrimo this year. Congrats; that's awesome.

Thanks! Yeah, I have a ridiculously senior-y class load this year, my thesis is done, and I'm just starting on the job hunt, so this seemed like the year to do it. Maybe next year for you? I find that I spend the same amount of time actually writing whether I'm busy all day and put aside an hour before dinner or spend the whole day staring at googledocs and procrastinating.
