I think he looks timeworn in a somewhat lovely way (and he definitely dyes his hair), but they were always ridiculously older than me, in my mind, so this prevents cognitive dissonance from setting in *g*.

Well, come to think of it...one of my first OTPs; the others being ships on Star Trek and they were both around the same time period.

I think I got a best friend out of the X-Files. I asked her way back in middle school if she thought Mulder was dead or alive and the rest is history.

Scully is the reason I dyed my hair red the second time around. The first time was Angela Chase's fault. :-)

I KNOW, in between arguments about whether John or Paul was the dreamier Beatle during their prime we used to, like, actively fight about whether Mulder and Scully were in lurv at the lunch table while we ate our string cheese and twinkies. NERD YOUTH \o/

Scully's hair was important in my developing understanding of fanon and fannish meta! Because in my head Scully is a natural redhead, Gillian Anderson isn't, end of story. This was an important concept for the wee fangirl I was!
