The fandom lj is dead, long live the fandom lj.
Re-intro reentry:
So often I want to make fandom jokes, or discuss 1) the existence of fanfic as community-based, pretty universally female international porn reservior AND THE SOCIOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS THEREOF 2) My worries that I might have been warped for life by learning the birds and bees from Mulder/Scully/Krychek fanart 3) OH MY GOD the Atlantis knitting fanfiction. Or whatever my latest Internet Discovery is.
So here is my livejournal. Most of the shows I watch were broadcast when I was in middle school (Due South, Highlander, Buffy) so the things that are Big Awesome Discoveries to me are not new to anybody else. This is okay! The only fandom I've ever followed while it was happening was X-files, and no one wants recs for what I thought was good porn when I was fifteen. Trust me.
