God life is good with real cable. I could live happy for years on SGA reruns. It's amazing how much less irritated I get with this show when it's not playing in a two inch square box on my computer.
I guess it's good that I've become a tv watcher, since my brother reports Dailymotion has started pulling clips.
My father called me a Sheppard groupie. I don't think that's true. I just think he has to leave the room before I can express my preference for Rodney in fully adequate language.
I read SGA fanfiction long before I watched the show, and sometimes that comes through when I'm watching - the John and Rodney I know are from Instantaneous and Resolution, and only secondarily from actual episodes. I realize some people consider this canon abuse of the first order, but it does cheer me right up to see a set/character/situation and go "Hey! That was in that story I read!".
Ford is really likeable in S1, isn't he? I've seen The Lost Boys so many times that I forgot about that.
ETA: Sweet jesus! SGA is followed with Firefly reruns. It is like the tv has a PhD in making me happy.
