sapote: The TARDIS sits near a tree in sunlight (Default)

I'm never sure if I should post to say I'm so, so sorry after a tragedy. I'm never sure if it's helpful; if I didn't think there was already a consensus that killing teenagers at a summer camp is unjustifiable, cowardly, and tragic, I would stop getting out of bed in the morning.

What I can say at least that I feel contributes something is that many of the acts of compassion and heroism I've read about in the aftermath make me proud to share a planet (and an internet) with Norway. [livejournal.com profile] misscam posted this picture of a person helping an injured woman after the bombing in Oslo. Yes. If there's another way through this besides compassion, I don't know about it.
