There was something about Nine/Rose that broke me as well. (For me it was flailing that Nine was gone, so at least there was still Rose.)
I got all choked up for awhile any time I heard "Run" by Snow Patrol, because it was playing during the regen scenes on Doctor Who Confidential. (I don't ever need to be that in touch with my inner 15 year old girl. I just don't.)
My current issues with the Ten/Martha dynamic were just shoved aside in favor of a "ZOMG, CAPTAIN JACK. ZOMG DEREK JACOBI. (What? He's very talented.) ZOMG THE MASTER AND ALSO D.I. TYLER." Shiny makes an excellent distraction from thinky issues with the show's writing and characterization.
And also? If this leads to another awesome Doctor Who vid by you, then it is totally worth it. (Um. For me, that is.)
