Yeah, I thought 45 minutes on how gangers are real people and it's not okay to kill them followed by killing Amy-ganger was so flagrant that the only way I can cope with it is to assume they're going to do some more with it in the next episode. But I'm like that about the very unDoctorish solution to the Silence in ep 2 ('Kill them every time you see them! I don't really know who they are or anything, but I expect killing them dead will be right!'), so I've been very... withdrawn and waiting this season. Or half-season, I suppose. Because if the Doctor did just order a genocide, then none of this is canon, and if he didn't, then... well, okay, but I'm not going to be happy until someone explains it to me.
