This one just struck me because it was so Cooking with Emo: take the spinach and plop it down in the middle of a soulless suburban context. Then shred some carrots, which will remind you of how your ex-girlfriend shredded your soul when she left, after which point you might need to have a cry. Salt dish lightly. With your tears.
