I agree, Jack is a secret dork. He also longs for domestic. Yes, yes. And I love your notion that Jack has convinced himself they're family, while to the rest, it's a job. That seems sad, yet accurate. Although maybe this will be the season where they solidify into a family. I would absolutely love that.
