You still have a Food Lion in your area? I love Food Lion, but around here, they've all turned into fancy-ass Blooms or street-alley-looking Bottom Dollars. Well, wait, there's two, but they're both a half hour from my house.
'Course I ain't complaining. There's a Bloom right across the street from my house and I go there half the time. The half of the time I'm at Target. *g*
Hey, that entry was supposed to be locked! But it has now entered the canon of the internet, so I'm not going to fix it *g*. Yeah, The Lion is a long-ass way out in the county, but it is worth it, and their produce doesn't suck. Except for organic, which is all shrink-wrapped on separate styrofoam trays, which, totally missing the point. We don't have Blooms here! We have Ingles and Lowes, and fancy-ass Harris Teeters with special teenager-repelling sonar at the door. And tiendas. I also got about the same amount of food (tortillas, beans, produce, chipotle) at a tienda for $6 later that day.
