Torchwood: Something Borrowed

1) Where did Gwen get such model-y friends? I mean, when does she go out with the girls and bond, exactly? I had this vision of her having some friends from university somewhere, all of whom had had kids and stopped calling.

2) Welsh arguing is the cutest arguing.

3) I really like Rhys now that I know that his parents have been referring to Gwen as That Woman for like eight years.

4) The moment where Gwen is like: so, Rhys, I'm very pregnant! is one of those moments where I love Gwen Cooper so much I flail.

5) I would have Tosh's alien babies any day, because Tosh was fabulous in this episode.

6) I predict five hundred thousand "AU where Gwen marries Jack" vids on Youtube.

7) And in the dancing scene, reconfirmation that whatever else weird subtext Gwen has with Jack, she's not jealous of Ianto, and he doesn't seem jealous of her.

I really really wish there'd been more Jack&Ianto dancing. That was lovely. I wish Jack hadn't been so obviously looking at what he couldn't have.

I don't think we'll be allowed not to know who Jack married. And I'm predicting the next episode will be completely terrifying. Just a guess.

1) Exactly!
3) LOL
7) Perhaps they each secretly wish for a 3some.

1) I really would have liked it if her friends had been, like, women with baby-weight who open their purses and pacifiers fall out, and of course they're trying to wear, like, maiden-y bridesmaid dresses and friend 1 is all "I look TERRIBLE since the twins" and Gwen is all "You look absolutely beautiful." SUBTEXT: Gwen would have liked a baby, but she is stuck! Until she stops fighting aliens!

This would make the mock-pregnancy poignant.

7) I need to finish writing that. Writing Ianto is tough, but Ianto/Gwen is delicious.
