the fandom is very attractive... and i know that the music isn't to everybody's taste (certainly not to any of my friends. oh how the mock me ;o;) but there is some amazing bandom fic out there. it's worth it if just for that. of course it doesn't hurt that some of the boys are hideously attractive.
