So point of canon: a rogue Scottish agent (do we know him from somewhere?) killed off everyone who worked for Torchwood 3 in 1999, so that they couldn't see the "coming storm". Alex, said murderific dude, is holding a locket as he shoots himself (brains on Jack's face, ew) that "told him what was coming".

Has anyone else noticed that Tosh has gained a very little bit of weight? It is adorable.

Tosh is still cut off from her family for years, but she goes to her grandpa's birthday in series 1, so obviously after the brainwashing period that lets up.

How come when they were all standing staring at the bombs they all survived physically intact and just got buried in rubble? Oh yeah, because it made for convenient plot devleopment time.

For some reason, this is the first scene that's striking me as being straight from fanfic. Ianto is a year and a half older than I am, which I find terrifying. Ianto is deliciously scruffy here, and PTERODACTYL.

But I totally asserted like a year ago that Jack had artificially-implanted pheremones, a la the night-lily guy in Stars in my Pockets, and that was part of his charm. Also, how many conversations have we had about how Jack smells? Lots! The assertion in canon is: delicious!

This scene with the pterodactyl is the best thing ever. Seriously. This is the cutest thing to ever cross my optic nerve.

I gathered from the ep that Alex was the leader of Torchwood 3 and he mercy-killed his team, then gave Torchwood 3 to Jack?

Isn't it a sonic modulator? I doubt it has all the capacities of a sonic screwdriver, I think it just makes loud sonic waves until someone's brain goes boom.

1) would that I could pay for it in a non-useless way. As I may have previously complained about, I have actually written to the BBC asking them to let me pay them for my pirated Whoverse, and the answer has not been helpful.

2) first, any super secret download comm that may or may not exist is probably getting their file off bittorrent, so that's a good first bet. There's kind of a situation with download comms that I would be able to speculate on in email - my email is my lj name @gmail.com.
