La Poderosa

My computer is officially going into computer-hospital, so I will be kind of away from keyboard. Hopefully my poor Poderosa will hang on a little longer, since if I get a new computer right now I'll probably end up having to budget for a Dell, and my heart belongs to Thinkpads.

I am a little apprehensive about letting complete strangers poke at my baby (what if they hurt her? What if they install Vista by mistake?) but needs must. See y'all on the other side, or when I end up hiking half a block in my jammies and sweater to use the church's dialup. Like now.

ETA: As Kuwdora put re: something else, it pulled a Daniel Jackson. I'm considering putting off repairs until Monday, because I'm pretty sure now I know what's wrong.
