I didn't really realize that sixteen hours of viewing chat + twelve hours of vidmaking over the course of friday and saturday =/= time to sleep. I fell asleep at five p.m. yesterday and I just woke up thirty minutes ago.

And I've spent those thirty minutes on lj (dear everyone: you are awesomely thinky) so: real life restarts.... now!

Good to see you around! And yes, for an event that kept me on my couch all weekend, ratjam required a surprising amount of recovery time. It must be that all that squeeing wears us right out!

I will be back later (when I can get on the pc that doesn't collapse when I try to watch vids) to have a poke around your vids. I don't know SGA from my elbow, but I have some interest in Torchwood. I only say this because when I watch anything like that I sort of go "Oh, shiny!" but can't really offer any sort of coherent commentary. Monofannish doesn't even begin to describe me, LOL.

the trick (and if my mother ever figures it out, I'm sunk) is that when the name "sapote" is taken I start adding digits of pi onto the end. That was perhaps a bit more information about the way I face the world than you needed?

Yeah, I totally DID SOMETHING to my body. It now refuses to sleep. Considering the total lack+school+work, this is a problem. Rat_jam was made of awesome, but I kind of wish fixing my sleep was a part of the service. I feel like a broken robot (though people being replaced by robots is totally not cool, stupid horror movies). I'm glad you got sleep, though.

Apparently I did all my sleeping for the week in one fell swoop! I've been up till the wee hours mainlining post-CoTW fic the last few nights.

Poor phnelt! The only fix I know is chamomile tea, and that usually just makes me a very calm insomniac. I hope you sleep soon!
