I don't even know how many of the people who've got me friended watch Due South, but I am DONE WITH FINALS! And after the ice cream and the sitting under a tree reading a book and the dancing in the streets (and the getting caught up on dishes), I thought, hey, now I can watch that episode where Fraser holds a baby a lot.



Look, I'm not saying Paul Gross hasn't aged well (Paul Gross: you have aged amazingly) but this is only my third episode of s1 & 2, and, damn. It's possible that I just don't look at Fraser enough in s3 and s4 because I pretty much watch Kowalski's shoulders the whole time. Just barely possible.



Fraser's a lot looser in the early years, isn't he? Look! Slouching!

Due South 1x09: A Cop, A Mountie, and a Baby. Which really just about sums it up. Every single one of these frames is already all over the fandom interwebs, but - Fraser! with a baby! In the brown uniform! Oh, I was clicking printscreen like a proud grandma with a polaroid camera.

I plan to blame the brown uniform when I am eventually sucked into this fandom. For it is compelling.(Because apparently my new thing is fandoms with dead canon. Stupid Netflix and Bittorrent. *shakes fist*)

I really like closed canons, actually. It's like reading a novel: the beginning, middle, and end are all right there. This makes me illogically pleased.

And Due South has experienced so many revivals that I'm not sure it can ever die. It lives on in our hearts?

Closed canon is fun. Also, many of the SGA writers I adore seem to have written in Due South. I'm currently exploring West Wing, which is another "why wasn't I playing in this sandbox?" fandom, but when I'm done I think I'm heading for Due South.
