I learned how to download brushes for Gimp today!
Which may be obvious from these icons.

All screenshots are from McKay & Mrs Miller. Yes, my crush on Rodney's sister is still hanging in there. The cool math brushes are by oxoniensis.

Concrit is welcome, as I am brand new to icon-making.

Ok, so we've covered how I have the critical visual skill of a squid, right? (it's all about the struggle), but I like the icons. The one where the equations show on her face is particularly nice (to me). I wonder what else you could do with that.

In a not connected note, is there anyway to convince you to make a specific vid? Because I have no skill and you do. I can flatter more?

thank you! as one squid to another. I will not segue into a discussion of the visual acuity of sea life, much as I want to.

I'm always open to suggestions! In that way where there's a 95% chance I won't or can't, but if you're okay with facing rejection :-) come on over to gmail and pitch it to me. I can also point you to the good free video editors, because it's not that hard to learn if you're willing to spend time on it.

Actually, this might be a good summer project for me. I say this, of course, not taking into consideration the fact that I'm moving and also my brother's getting married. But if you'd be willing to do some handholding as I flail (which, I mean, if you don't want to, I'd understand so completely). So, by all means, email me and point away.

man I love your Rose icons. I will get caught up enough on Dr. Who that I can have Rose icons too! This is my big fannish goal for this summer.

(Well, that, and write the giant fic from hell, but I've arghed enough about that)

I mean, I've done two whole vids, so I'm eminently qualified ::snort:: but whatever help I can offer, sure!
