I have actually managed to overshoot and make a Pandora station that is too me. I try to listen to it, and it's all really good songs, but it's like I'm listening to a cliche of myself.
I have music problems.
Larkin Grimm, "Blond and Golden Johns" (Larkin Grimm: probably like. Songs about sex work, enh.)
Devendra Banhart, "Fall"
Kathryn Williams, "Little Black Numbers"
Chad Vangaalen, "Chronograph #1"
The Mammals, "Do Not Go Quietly Unto Your Grave"
Iron and Wine, "Sunset Soon Forgotten"
Laura Love, "Serenity"
and the presently-playing poignant, intellectual wisp-a-thon, Skies of New York, Umbrella Minds.
ETA: even though there were cheerful songs in the middle, we should add Brown Bird's "This Mountain Road" to the list of "damn, when I said I wanted creepy folk, I got what I asked for." That is one poignant-ass fiddle.
