I guess by cheating, you mean: same song, same show, same subject? I say, don't let that stop you! butterfly (I think it was her) was just pondering the same thing a while ago. Even if it's the same song/show, it won't be the same. As a viewer, I know I always enjoy seeing different interpretations. So, I say go for. Now, having said that, after I made Set The Fire, someone pointed out to me that a Jack/Ianto video had already been made to that song on YouTube. I had no idea (because I didn't really hang out over on YouTube) and then I felt really bad about it, worrying I had insulted that other vidder. But, honestly, they probably could have cared less. Someone else on my flist is thinking about making a Jack video to "Set The Fire" and I would be really curious to see that! It wouldn't bother me.

I've done same song/subject before. I didn't realize it when I started, figured it out halfway through. And didn't care, because I didn't think the YT vids were very good; there was more to be done with the song.
