People who are following this: is there anything useful I can do about the Wisconsin situation from halfway across the country?

For the record, collective bargaining for public employees has been actively illegal in my state since 1967, so, you know, ow.

Via a friend (cabell on twitter; she's somewhat in fandom) in WI:

You can also order pizza from Ian's Pizza or fresh fruit & veggies t from Madison Fresh Market : 608-256-0000"

Haven't seen a list of people one can write to from out of state or other things one can do without money, but encouraging helpful news coverage is probably on that list (a lot of it has inaccurately portrayed this as being about wages rather than collective bargaining, among other things)

[personal profile] marylex posted yesterday saying that Ian's is so swamped with out-of-state (and out-of-country!) orders for pizza that they had to stop taking local orders!
