I'm joining the resounding chorus of people telling you to go read
cesperanza's Written by the Victors (SGA NC17) because. Yes. I just finished it this morning (thank god classes were canceled, because I would not have gone, I would have stayed here and read) and I have been just sort of walking around my living room in a daze waving my arms around and going "that was SO GOOD."
I might find some molecule of jealousy in me because I was planning at some point to write a vaguely similar story (though not in the format! Format = genius) but I don't even care. So good.

I am incapable of saying anything coherent about it at this point. Except maybe: I feel sorry for people who aren't in fandom, because they're missing something this awesome.
I am still flaily arms and sputtering "There's a *bibliography*".
