So tonight in tech-support chat with the gerbal it came up that I am vidding with 261 mb of ram.

Apparently other people don't do this.

gerbal is laughing at me, kuwdora's response was "Oh honey ...", and phnelt is trying to convince me of the Value of Letting Go.

They still sell IBM t40 ram, is the happy ending to this story. Apparently I need to scrape together some change and upgrade, because, I love this computer.

I'm not trying to convince you of the Value of Letting Go, I just want to try and gently introduce you to the idea that one day, You May Just Have To. I mean, I'm sure she'll never ever die.
