Clearly, Giuseppe Fava is a geek jam band composed of one astronomy student, one journalism student, one biologist, and one historian with leftward leanings. While asleep on a desk in the microfiche room, our journalist/keyboard player had a dream about Mirta Teresita Massa, Miss International 1967. She came running home - to our fabulously scuzzy student co-op - and found us making all-nighter pancakes with Red Bull in the batter. "Guys!" she said. "What if we wrote an album about really being Miss International? Like, about the world, and the universe. And stuff." She had newsprint on one cheek, and we had all been up for about a day cramming for midterms, and we went "okay!"

So we put together this album, which was reviewed in the campus paper as "eccentric, bittersweet, somewhat off-key." The song "Musso's Fish-eating Rat" did get some play on campus radio, though most people apparently thought it was about politics.

I really don't do memes, almost ever.
But I couldn't resist finding out my band name. It turns out to be totally awesome.
Blowback (Intelligence) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowback_%28intelligence%29)
I kind of want to start a band now.
I used to play piano, I have a guitar, and lyrics are not a problem. Now I just need a Patrick Stump and a drummer.
