Cracktastic

All right, internet, somewhere out there there has to be John Sheppard/Rusty Ryan from Ocean's Eleven. Right? Don't make me write it!

Or! Given that John and Rusty are very similar: Rodney McKay/Rusty Ryan! McKay is the new computer guy on the heist! Rodney and Rusty bond over snack food! Danny Ocean is all jealous! It would be AWESOME.

I wish I had enough handle on character voice to do crossovers. Some day, internet. Some day.

*snort*

I can actually see that!

And hey, what's the go? Two posts in a row with no mention of bean cultivation or use of the word "mesoamerican". Is it weird that I *like* that you write about bean cultivation in your posts?

Bean cultivation!

See? See?

Re: beans, thanks! Because it's turning out that having a field of study is like being in fandom: it seeps into all my conversations no matter what. Science fiction? Mormonism? Basketball championships? Totally related to agriculture. Or at least area studies.

I suppose university is supposed to eat my brain like this. Gak.

Yay! Beans!

I understand completely. When I studied Philosophy at university I couldn't even watch tv commercials without ripping them apart for their assumptions and underlying theories. And it never goes away...

Oh lord semiotics. We did semiotics as part of theories of development and I will never get that stuff out of my brain. I suppose this means we are Educated?

To be honest it reminded me of Season 1 of SGA - 90% this is so awesome and 10% I am now completely unfit for nongeek company. Worth it, I think.
