I went to campus at 11 and was home and done by two, so I have in fact been watching Internet Television and reading people's Due South yuletide recs all day. Though I also baked a loaf of bread and ate some of the pizza sauce I canned from the farm this fall, so I think I maintained an okay internet vs. life skills balance.

I am trying to take a break from the QAF for a while, because the Drama it is getting to me, and my bandwith could as well be used to get me past Due South season 3. I am ready for a kinder, more courteous, and less canon (kinda) sort of bromance than the QAF soap opera.

I'm thinking of picking up Torchwood, but if I tell my brother I'm taking up Doctor Who he will drive across the state to stage an intervention. I suppose just this once I can conceal my fannish ways. (from the boy who burned me every episode of Babylon 5 for a Christmas present, so this will be tougher than it sounds.)

I started Torchwood on Youtube, but there isn't much in the way of sequentially-numbered episode parts, so I'm going to wait it out with bittorrent. The nice thing about Youtube is one can watch it from other people's computers, but I agree, there's nothing like the comfort of one's own harddrive.

How long are you computerless for? I was internetless last semester, which I'm certainly compensating for by picking up a bazillion shows now. I did get very good at remembering to save new fic to my thumb drive every time I used the library computers, though.

I go home on Thursday and then I shall have my own, sweet computer back. Actually, more than that, since I got a 320 GB external harddrive for Christmas! Yay! I can download all of it and keep it.
