I've just started Farscape 1x14 and, man does that look just like culture shock. "This isn't cute anymore! I HATE YOU ALL!" ::stomps off::

And now he has a beard.

Also, I'm through 1x13, with the first John/Aeryn makeouts, and may I say yay.

Except now he's on planet Polynesia and I'm kind of preparing to be distressed. Yes, I am totally starting my Saturday with science fiction, because that is the best way to do it. I think this must be the nerd equivalent of wake-and-bake.

Good. This is, for the record, the Worst Farscape Ep ever. Various cast and crew members actually did a DVD commentary for it called When Bad Things Happen To Good Shows.

Once you're through this, the only way is up.

Hah, having finished it, that was really really bad. Still, his little hissy fit at the beginning was pretty precious. And I enjoy that these episodes never seem to conform to any sort of consistent measure of internal time - some episodes seem to take up three hours shipboard, some take three months, who knows?
