After months and months and months of fighting it I am totally reading bandslash - specifically, everything under kalpurna's Pete tag - and man, I had forgotten how much fun it is to read in a fandom where I know no canon and kind of don't want to. I have a vague impression of who Pete Wentz is from people's user icons, and that is enough for me to really enjoy, I don't know, Bob Bryer - Pete Wentz bodyswap fic. Plus, I keep running into medium-name fans who were in SGA when I first started reading there, and man, it's nice to run into people again in new fandoms.

Basically, this is getting posted as a mea culpa for making fun of bandslash, because right now it is causing me glee. And I need some glee right now.

hey, sorry, I screened because I try not to do offline names on this journal. I have my boundaries, I swear! Even if my sister's friends know I'm reading Pete Wentz/Patrick Stump mpreg. What. It was well-written.
