Every time I see this Ikea ad about six young adults living in an 130-square-foot apartment I really want to know a) why Ikea is helping you furnish your terrifying bike-messenger student commune, exactly b) long, long backstories for who these people are, how they are related, and what kind of drama / sitcom-style hijinks / awkward interpersonal times they get up to in their tiny, tiny dormitory-style apartment.
c) Also where they live that housing codes are so relaxed (I have to imagine two fire escapes from their curtain-filled kitchen just to feel comfortable), housing prices are so high that this is the best idea, and Ikea is within economic reach.
I have pretty much kept myself from naming them and writing short biographies so far. But it's a struggle.
