The Avengers! I have seen them!

I done saw The Avengers the movie! It was pretty great! BUT FIRST I TALK ABOUT MOVIE VIOLENCE IN SPECIFIC SETTINGS.
( First cut to talk about how I DO NOT LIKE IT in general when specific kinds of cartoon violence happen in specific geographic areas. )

This means that the point at which I basically relaxed and accepted that I could in fact enjoy an action superhero movie romp was ( Joss Whedon <3 <3 )

( So what are the major ships, anyway? I imagine it will not be hard to find out. Also discusses, um, there are actually some warnings under a cut at the end so look at them? in a way that makes me love the characters. )

So that was a long-winded reaction post! Basically I loved it, and I was not expecting to at all. Yay.
