This is not so much a rec (though please, take it as one) as it is just a massive statement of fannish enthusiasm: Edge of Forever by synecdochic and sarahq is pretty much rocking my world this morning. I'm hoping there will be more of it. It's an SGA AU where the authors take the canon we all know and love(/sometimes hate a little) and rewrite it so that, essentially, people are sensible. And they pursue "cut off from earth" to the interesting conclusions. Good lord, I love worldbuilding experiments. (And as I may have previously stated I have a real soft spot for post-civilization logistics).


Also, successfully pimped Slings and Arrows to caffieninni yesterday. Now I can go back to Universityville happy.
ETA: Today she actually said "Oh my god I love Paul Gross!" This is a new record for sibling fandom transmission.

God, wasn't that story amazing? I would like to offer to have their internet babies if they would write more of it. It's like they kept what is awesome about the show, fixed what's broken and hit every story kink of mine in the process.

And yay for your upcoming apoca-fic!! (I have the hugest soft spot for those, probably due to X-Files fandom which spawned those things like crazy.)
