Alright, friends and friendslisters - I am stuck trying to find one particular clip for my DW/TW vid and I can't seem to get around it.

Has anyone seen a clip where Jack is walking away in his big flappy trenchcoat and he turns around and looks back towards the camera? Because I would really enjoy having that.

Also, different project, but say I was to be making an Owen character assassination study. How creepybadwrong is it fair to make him? Thoughts? Because I'm pretty sure I can make a vid that makes him look bad enough that I have to post warnings.

I vaguely recall such a scene...but I can't remember where it occurs. (That said, if you know where it is from and you needed it...*trails off in a meaninful way*)

In your memory, is it at night on a street? Because it is in mine. I found the nice 360 pan from Countrycide, though, so maybe I'll just substitute that.

Opinion noted re: Owen. I was watching Out of Time with the sound off, and I almost felt a little sorry for him, a little. It sort of passed, though. Horribly unsympathetic characters are so interesting.

Erm. I was picturing it in the country, during the day.

Then again, giving that I can practically hear Doyle or Spike from Angel doing a voiceover (it REALLY is all about the coat), it's possible that I have conflated scenes/episodes/entire fandoms. (Hot guys with issues and/or guns. It all blurs together some days.)

Out of Time made me alternate between angry and tiny bursts of sympathy. Torchwood was sometimes a show that I liked in spite of the characters rather than because of them, you know?

okay, yay for having found the one you're thinking of, and also, bah to my brain for inventing footage far handier than what actually exists.

Somehow I have never considered Angel/TW-era Cap'n Jack parallels. How could this have escaped me? Both have coats and like to sulk and live underground. ET CETERA.

You mean what I was picturing happened? Any memories involving Captain Jack my brain automatically classifies as suspect and possibly being from fic, I think on account of him kissing so many boys. I just *assume* it's fantasy.

God, that would be the best crossover ever, wouldn't it? Jack Harkness really is the LBD of fandom.

It would be full of delicious manly angst. And Angel would be all broody and woe is me, I have so many crimes to atone for. Jack would be like "That's terrible. Maybe we should make out to help you take your mind off it".

Somewhere, I read a fic that is like, group therapy for a bunch of angsty characters: Sam Seaborn, Angel and Daniel Jackson, possibly some others. Hilarity ensued.

Seriously. Warnings. The odd thing is, when sourcing with the sound off I almost start to like the guy. But not enough to spare him. Mwahaha.
