Guys, guys, I finally downloaded VirtualDub! There are no stray frames! There are keyframes! I have been working since February in a video editor that didn't do keyframes.

I could seriously weep for joy. This is awesome.

Actually, Adobe does stick random stray frames in when I clip from the source, almost always ... but I've learned to adjust. And my work habits - clip large bits as scrap, then trim - make it less of a deal.

oh, well, it's good to know it isn't just me being cheap with my editing program? *g* Yeah, I tend to have the first frame overlapped by something else, it's just in vids with a lot of blackspace that it's obvious.
